Our client is an established financial services organisation with a strong presence in the local market, providing custody, banking and investment services to a broad client base. The Corporate Actions team plays a key role in ensuring accurate and timely processing of dividends, shareholder meetings, disclosures and related market events.

Role
The Administrator will support the Corporate Actions team to ensure the accurate and timely administration of dividends, corporate actions, shareholder meetings, disclosures and associated events, in line with internal procedures and regulatory deadlines.
Key responsibilities
• Process dividends, corporate actions, meeting notices and disclosure requests accurately and within deadlines
• Set up and maintain files, issuing instructions and monitoring responses
• Prepare and issue client notifications relating to corporate actions and associated events
• Check and obtain authorisation of client instructions via the Relationship Management team
• Prepare instructions to Global Custodians, Fund Administrators or agents, completing required procedural checks
• Reconcile allocations and entitlements following confirmation of share and cash movements
• Update internal systems to ensure accurate client holdings
• Respond to client queries in line with internal service standards, escalating where appropriate
• Investigate and report issues, following proper escalation procedures
• Support colleagues during periods of high volume or absence
Person specification
• Strong organisational, prioritisation and time management skills
• Numerically competent with attention to detail
• Ability to produce clear and professional written English communication
• Good IT skills, including Outlook, Excel and Word
• Willingness to learn through on-the-job training and professional study (for example Securities Institute qualifications)
• Ability to work accurately within a deadline-driven environment
