Description
Our client is seeking an Analyst to join its Authorisations and Innovation Division.
Key Responsibilities
• Investigate and assess applications for authorisation, registration, or licensing across various financial sectors, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
• Conduct risk-based due diligence, including internet-based searches on individuals and entities, summarising findings for further review.
• Support team members by participating in internal and external meetings and panels as required.
• Maintain accurate internal records and systems for all assigned cases.
• Handle enquiries from colleagues, licensees, regulators, and other professionals by compiling and summarising relevant information.
What You Need
• A keen interest in financial services regulation and innovation.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret legislation and assess risk.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• The ability to manage multiple tasks in a dynamic environment.
• Experience in financial services, legal, or regulatory environments is beneficial but not essential.
