An established organisation is seeking an Analyst to join its Banking and Insurance Division. This is a varied role that offers the opportunity to gain experience across diverse areas of the financial services sector, including banks, insurers, insurance managers, and intermediaries, as well as businesses licensed under lending and credit laws.

Key Responsibilities
• Assisting with the supervision of banks and insurance companies, including reviewing files, assessing risks, and analysing financial statements and returns.
• Supporting the handling of applications requiring approval, consent, or comment (such as changes of control, director appointments, or licence surrenders).
• Planning and attending on-site visits, conducting research, and preparing accurate reports.
• Preparing and presenting findings, feedback, and case summaries to internal panels.
• Engaging with licensees, professionals, and other stakeholders to resolve queries and provide feedback.
• Contributing to thematic reviews and policy development initiatives.

Skills & Experience
• Strong analytical, research, and communication skills.
• Ability to produce accurate and clear written work.
• Organised, proactive, and able to manage changing priorities effectively.
• Experience in banking, insurance, auditing, actuarial, or a related financial services environment is desirable, though not essential.
• Keen interest in developing technical knowledge and qualifications in financial services supervision.
