We're looking for a talented Area Sales Representative to work for our client.
They want to recruit someone with demonstrable experience of technical sales within the engineering sector.

The Package:
Basic salary: £35,000 - £55,000 per annum (depending on experience)
Bonus: A personal bonus of up to £15,000 per annum is also available if you hit your targets paid out quartrly

The Role:
The Area Sales Representative role is field-based. Reporting to the Director and covering the Middlesex, North and East London area.
You will be primarily responsible for managing existing accounts and winning new business for welding equipment, power tools, and consumables within industrial environments in manufacturing, mechanical, welding fabrication and general engineering sectors.
In the job you'll be tasked with the following:
- Reporting sales trends to the employer
- Managing a range of existing accounts in your region (Middlesex, North and East London)
- Cold calling new businesses and meeting with them to sell the company equipment
- Managing your own diary
The Candidate:
The ideal candidate for this Area Sales Representative role will have relevant experience of either selling within the engineering space or have previous Welder Fabricator knowledge.
You'll also need experience of:
- Being able to build strong relationships with people
- Working well on your own as well as part of a team
- Delivering fantastic customer service
In addition, you'll need the following:
- Confidence and strong negotiation skills
- Ability to account manage
- Ability to cold call, schedule appointments and manage your diary
- A passion for welding/engineering
The ideal person for the role will be the following:
- Well presented as this is a client facing role
- Passionate about sales and target driven
- Highly motivated and relationship focused
