Our client, an established regulatory body overseeing the international online gambling sector, is seeking a qualified accountant to join its Guernsey-based supervisory team.

This is a hands-on role focused primarily on reconciliations and reviewing financial statements. Despite the Assistant Director title, the position suits someone who enjoys practical accounting and analytical work within a team.

Key Responsibilities
• Reconcile financial information and review management accounts, audited financial statements and forecasts.
• Assess financial information submitted by regulated businesses and new licence applicants.
• Review accounting systems, investigate financial anomalies and support financial compliance monitoring.
• Contribute to financial analysis and reporting processes.

About You
• A recognised professional accounting qualification is required.
• Relevant experience in accounting, financial reporting, reconciliations or audit.
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail and Excel proficiency.
• Clear communication skills and a collaborative approach.
