A leading restructuring and insolvency advisory firm is seeking an Assistant Manager – Insolvency & Restructuring to join its Guernsey office. This role will support the management team in progressing restructuring cases, ensuring effective case management and compliance, and contributing to the firm’s continued growth in the region.
Key responsibilities:
• Assisting with the preparation and implementation of case strategies.
• Liaising with key stakeholders, including creditors, solicitors, and financial institutions.
• Supervising and supporting junior team members under management guidance.
• Planning and progressing restructuring cases to ensure efficient execution.
• Contributing to statutory reports, case planning, estimated outcome statements, and cash flow monitoring.
• Reviewing WIP and costs to budget to maintain financial control.
• Conducting investigations to identify potential areas for asset realisation.
• Managing cases from inception to exit or dissolution while ensuring compliance with insolvency regulations.
• Identifying risk issues and escalating them to management.
The successful candidate will have:
• A minimum of four years of corporate insolvency experience.
• A recognised insolvency qualification (e.g., CPI, JIEB).
• Strong organisational and analytical skills, with a proactive approach to case management.
• Experience working in offshore restructuring environments.
• The ability to contribute to team development and business growth.
