Description

Our client is a privately owned and independent trust company providing bespoke fiduciary services to an international client base. Role
This is a senior position reporting to an Associate Director, responsible for managing a team and overseeing the administration of a portfolio of trust and company clients. The role combines people management, client relationship management and operational oversight, ensuring high standards of service and compliance are maintained.

Key responsibilities
• Manage a team of administrators, overseeing day-to-day operations and workload distribution
• Take responsibility for an allocated portfolio of clients, ensuring efficient and accurate administration
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and intermediaries
• Ensure deadlines are met and high standards of client service are consistently delivered
• Monitor team utilisation and performance, supporting the achievement of business targets
• Provide guidance, training and development to team members
• Assist with resolving complex operational and administrative matters
• Ensure compliance with all internal policies and regulatory requirements
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant regulatory and industry standards
• Contribute to the development and improvement of internal processes and procedures
• Provide management information and updates to senior leadership as required
• Monitor billing and debtor positions, ensuring effective financial management

Person specification
• A relevant professional qualification (for example STEP or ICSA) or working towards
• A minimum of 5 years’ experience within the trust or fiduciary sector
• Strong knowledge of trust and company administration and regulatory requirements
• Proven experience managing client relationships and delivering high levels of service
• Experience supervising or mentoring team members (management experience desirable)
• Strong communication, interpersonal and organisational skills
• Ability to manage workloads, prioritise tasks and meet deadlines
• A proactive and collaborative approach
