Job Title: Behaviour Support Worker (Part-time)

Pay Rate: £89 per day

This is a challenging yet deeply rewarding 1:1 role, supporting a Key Stage 1 pupil with behavioural and emotional needs.
About the Role:
You will work closely with school staff to provide focused, consistent support to help a young child navigate daily school life. The pupil requires understanding, structure, and encouragement to succeed both emotionally and academically. Your role will involve building trust, helping the child regulate their emotions, and enabling them to take part in the classroom and wider school activities.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide 1:1 daily support to a KS1 pupil with behavioural challenges
• Work with teachers and the SENCO to deliver tailored behaviour strategies
• Help the pupil manage emotions and develop resilience
• Encourage positive interactions and engagement in learning
• Monitor and report progress, raising any concerns where needed
• Maintain a safe, consistent, and structured environment throughout the school day
• Support with transitions, breaktimes, and classroom routines
