Key Responsibilities
Preparing year-end accounts for a range of clients, including sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies
Managing a portfolio of clients, acting as a key point of contact for day-to-day queries
Preparing and reviewing VAT returns, ensuring accuracy and compliance
Supporting junior members of the team, providing guidance and on-the-job training
Preparation and review of personal and corporate tax returns
Liaising with HMRC and third parties on behalf of clients
Contributing to the continued development and improvement of internal processes
Requirements
AAT qualified or qualified (ACA/ACCA), or qualified by experience
At least three years' experience working within a UK Practice environment
Strong technical knowledge of accounts preparation and VAT
Experience using cloud-based accounting software such as Xero, QuickBooks, or Sage
Excellent communication skills with a client-focused approach
Ability to manage workload effectively and meet deadlines
A proactive, team-oriented attitude with a desire to develop professionally
