Location: CF14, Cardiff
Position: Challenging Behaviour Mentor
Contract Type: Full-time and Part-time roles available, Monday-Friday, 8:30-3:30
Salary: £89 per day (depending on experience and qualifications)

Axcis are looking for candidates who have experience dealing with Challenging Behaviour, to work at a newly refurbished PRU centre that caters for 32 learners at KS4 based in Cardiff. Learners that attend have a variety of needs that most mainstream school cannot accommodate. The school offers a variety of interactive and creative lessons such as art, photography, food and nutrition and media. Having a patient and adaptable approach and using arts-based and sports-based activities you will help students to access learning through meaningful and creative ways. Your role will be essential in helping students access education and achieve their individual potential.

Axcis are looking for candidates who have experience in any of the below settings supporting ADHD, Challenging Behaviour and Social, emotional and Mental health (SEMH):
• Graduates: Art, Drama, Psychology, Sociology, Criminology and Sports
• Youth leaders
• Support workers
• Sports coaches
• Care Assistants
• Nursery Nurses
• Schools

• Support and educate vulnerable children
• Be a positive role model and set clear boundaries
• Learn quickly, be proactive, and seek feedback
