Role: Chef De Partie
Location: Preston, PR5
Hourly Rate: From £13.50 + Tip Share
Type: Full Time – Permanent
Hours: 35 – 48 per week
We are currently recruiting for a Chef De Partie to join a fantastic, long-established local business set in the picturesque outskirts of Preston.
Operating a fully fresh kitchen, we’re seeking a Chef De Partie with experience in high-quality fresh food kitchens, working with seasonal menus and exciting specials.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
• Proven experience working in high-quality, fresh food kitchens
• A genuine passion for cooking with fresh, seasonal ingredients
• Keen to contribute ideas and creativity to the specials board
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, supportive environment
• Strong knowledge of food preparation, hygiene, and safety standards
Role Responsibilities:
• Maintain high standards across all dishes, working closely with the kitchen team
• Run your section efficiently, ensuring prep levels, cleanliness, and smooth communication
• Assist with food preparation and cooking under the guidance of senior chefs
• Help maintain an organised and efficient kitchen environment
• Support junior team members through leadership and mentoring
• Communicate clearly with colleagues to ensure smooth service
• Help uphold the kitchen’s excellent standards, contributing to an outstanding dining experience
