Class Teacher – Full Time

We are looking for a dedicated and passionate Class Teacher to join a mainstream primary school in Waltham Forest (E17). This position offers the opportunity to work with a wonderful group of students who have complex needs, including speech and language difficulties. The role will start ASAP with the potential to continue into the next academic year (September 2025).
Key Responsibilities:
-Deliver high-quality classroom teaching to primary-aged children with complex and speech and language needs
-Support the development of individual learning plans tailored to each student's needs
-Create a positive, inclusive, and engaging classroom environment
-Collaborate with the wider school team to ensure the best outcomes for students
The Ideal Candidate Will:
-Be a qualified teacher with experience or a strong understanding of working with students with complex needs, particularly those with speech and language difficulties
-Show a genuine passion for inclusive education and supporting children’s development
-Demonstrate excellent communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues
-Hold an Enhanced DBS, registered on the Update Service (or be willing to apply for one)
