A well-established telecoms provider in Guernsey is offering an excellent opportunity to be part of the island’s fibre broadband rollout. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on work, being outdoors, and supporting a busy installations team.

About the Role
As a Fibre Installation Assistance Engineer, you’ll support Installation Technicians with essential tasks involved in bringing high-speed fibre broadband to homes and businesses. The role is active and varied, involving setting up equipment, cable pulling, assisting with installations, operating safely on-site, and working in all types of conditions.
This position does not involve direct customer interaction, but you will play a key part in ensuring the installation process runs safely and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities
• Supporting technicians with equipment setup and fibre installation
• Cable pulling, rodding ducts, and assisting with overhead work
• Helping ensure safe, smooth operations on-site
• Working outdoors and handling physical tasks as part of a supportive team

What We’re Looking For
No previous experience is required—just enthusiasm, reliability, and a positive, team-focused attitude. A full driving licence is essential, and all training will be provided. This role suits someone who enjoys being on the go, working with their hands, and contributing to a major island-wide project.
