Join a forward-thinking technology team delivering innovative enterprise IT solutions. This role is open for candidates who are either based in Guernsey, Jersey or the Isle of Man.
This is an exciting opportunity to work as an IT Applications Engineer within a collaborative applications support function. The role involves delivering excellent customer experience while supporting and operating a range of managed IT and email security services. The successful candidate will play a key role in implementing, maintaining and supporting enterprise technologies, ensuring reliable and secure service delivery.
This position is offered on a full-time, fixed-term contract for 2 years.
Key Responsibilities
• Deliver implementation, monitoring, and technical support across Managed IT and email security platforms.
• Provide subject matter expertise on a range of Microsoft and Citrix-based enterprise solutions.
• Lead service delivery for managed products, ensuring accurate documentation and seamless handovers.
• Mentor internal teams, contributing to a knowledge-sharing and development-oriented environment.
• Handle client incidents and queries, escalating when required and maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction.
• Assist with service process improvement and contribute to internal documentation and governance standards.
• Participate in out-of-hours on-call rotation if required.
The Ideal Candidate
This role suits a highly motivated, technically proficient individual with strong experience in managed IT support and customer-facing service delivery.
Key requirements include:
• Proficiency in Microsoft 365, Windows 10/11, Intune/SCCM, Office 365, EMS, SharePoint, and Teams.
• Experience supporting Mimecast solutions (Mimecast Warrior/Gladiator qualifications or equivalent desirable).
• Strong understanding of email security gateway tools and Microsoft security features (Azure ATP, DLP, AIP).
• Practical experience in Citrix technologies (ADC, Virtual Apps & Desktops, Citrix Cloud) is an advantage.
• Solid networking knowledge including DNS, DHCP, and IP subnetting.
• Relevant Microsoft certifications (e.g., MS-900, AZ-900, MS-700, AZ-104) are desirable.
• Strong communication skills, customer orientation, and ability to manage time and priorities effectively.
