Key Responsibilities
Leading the delivery of corporate tax compliance and advisory services across a complex and varied client portfolio
Advising on corporation tax, group structures, M&A, business reorganisations, and wider strategic tax planning
Overseeing the review of corporate tax returns and computations prepared by managers and junior staff
Playing a central role in business development activity, including proposals, networking, and growing the tax practice
Building and maintaining senior-level client relationships, acting as a trusted adviser to key stakeholders
Leading, mentoring, and developing managers and junior members of the corporate tax team
Contributing to the strategic direction of the tax department in close partnership with the firm's senior leadership
Requirements
CTA and/or ACA/ACCA qualified with an exceptional corporate tax background gained within practice
At least six years' experience working within a UK Practice environment
Proven experience at manager or senior manager level with a strong track record of complex corporate tax advisory work
Deep technical knowledge of UK corporation tax legislation
Outstanding communication and client relationship skills
A natural leader with demonstrable experience inspiring and developing tax teams
Commercially driven with a proactive and strategic approach to business development and practice growth
