New opportunity with an established Freight Forwarder specialising in the TV, Film & Broadcast sectors to join them as a Film Logistics Manager.
Role will involve utilising project management skills to lead and oversee special projects and supporting all client requirements. as well ensuring the development of the export team.
Duties will include:
· Project management- Leading and overseeing special projects.
· Organise and oversee the daily operations within the film and T.V department.
· Extensive Knowledge Customs and compliance
· Ensure knowledge of HMRC compliance and practices is maintained in line with current legislation/regulation through
continuous professional development within the team.
· Manage operations staff including support, motivation, guidance, and development of the team.
· Mentor, develop and manage the team to ensure that daily objectives, client requests/expectations and company SOPs are followed including creating and implementing training plans.
· Monitor internal/external/client issues/requests within the department to identify and assign for resolution/escalation.
· Serve as first initial contact for any problems within the Film/Export department for all verticals within the group to ensure smooth collaboration with first-time success resolutions.
· Managing department invoicing within a timely manner
· Develop strong and strategic relationships with clients.
Salary; £45K - £50K plus benefits -
