Flexible Teaching Assistant - School Hours
Location: Ilminster & Surrounding Areas
Pay: £92.00 – £109.00 per day
Contract: Flexible / Supply | Term Time Only
Hours: Typically 8:30am – 3:30pm

What does the role involve?
As a Flexible Teaching Assistant, you'll support children and young people in a variety of educational settings. No two placements are the same, giving you the opportunity to gain experience with different age groups, schools and additional needs.
Your responsibilities may include:
• Providing 1:1 support to pupils
• Supporting small groups and classroom activities
• Helping children access and engage with their learning
• Supporting pupils with SEND and additional needs
• Encouraging confidence, independence and positive behaviour
• Providing social and emotional support
• Building positive relationships with pupils and staff
Who would this role suit?
You don't need previous experience as a Teaching Assistant to apply. We welcome candidates with experience gained through:
• Childcare or care work
• Youth work or mentoring
• Sports coaching
• Volunteering
• Tutoring
• Supporting children or young people with additional needs
