Position: Year 6 General Teaching Assistant
Contract: Full-time (term-time)
Salary: From £93-£96 per day, depending on experience.
Axcis Education are currently recruiting for an experienced Year 6 General teaching assistant to join a welcoming and supportive mainstream primary school in the PR1 area.
This is an excellent opportunity to become part of a school with a fantastic support network, where staff work collaboratively to help pupils achieve their full potential during this important stage of their education.
The ideal candidate will have:
• Previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant in a primary school setting.
• Strong knowledge of the Key Stage 2 curriculum, particularly Year 6.
• Confidence supporting pupils both in class and in small group interventions.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• A proactive, reliable, and flexible approach to supporting teaching and learning.
• An Enhanced Child and Adult DBS registered on the Update Service (essential).
