No previous school-based experience is essential. Full training and ongoing support will be provided, making this a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience within a specialist educational setting.

What you’ll be doing:

• Supporting children and young people with additional needs in the classroom
• Providing 1:1 and small-group support
• Helping pupils engage with learning and develop independence
• Supporting social, emotional and behavioural development
• Encouraging confidence and positive relationships
• Working alongside experienced teachers and support staff
• Helping create a safe, structured and inclusive learning environment

What’s on offer:

• Pay rates around £14.25 per hour
• Flexible full-time and part-time hours
• Short-term and long-term opportunities available
• Immediate starts and upcoming opportunities
• Full training provided
• Ongoing support from experienced education professionals
• Valuable hands-on experience working with children and young people
• The opportunity to explore a future career in education, psychology, SEND, youth work, therapy or other people-focused professions

We’re looking for graduates who are:

• Enthusiastic, reliable and approachable
• Patient, caring and confident working with young people
• Interested in gaining practical experience alongside their degree or after graduating
• Positive and willing to learn
• Able to work as part of a supportive team
• Previous experience working with children or young people is desirable but not essential

This could be a great opportunity if you’re taking a gap year, have recently graduated, are considering a career in education or psychology, or simply want to gain meaningful experience working with young people.

If you’re looking for flexible graduate work in Bath where you can develop valuable skills, receive training and make a genuine difference, we’d love to hear from you.
