Description
Location: Brislington, Bristol
Salary: From £26,500 + competitive commission
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
Hours: Monday–Friday, 40 hours per week
Training: 6-month Graduate Training Programme
Ready to turn your ambition into a career?
Are you a graduate who is competitive, resilient, ambitious and motivated by earning potential?
Do you enjoy talking to people, building relationships and working towards a target?
If you’re interested in education but see yourself in sales, recruitment and business development rather than working directly with students, our Graduate Trainee Education Recruitment Consultant role could be the career for you.
Your first 6 months
You'll join our established Bristol team and enter a structured 6-month training and coaching programme, focused exclusively on recruiting specialist SEN/SEND candidates for schools.
You'll learn how to:
• Source and attract specialist education candidates
• Interview and assess SEN professionals
• Build strong candidate relationships
• Match candidates with schools and opportunities
• Develop your recruitment and sales skills
• Understand the SEND education market
• Work towards targets and KPIs
• Build the foundations of a successful recruitment career
You'll have the support of an experienced team, alongside your manager and senior leadership, so you'll never be expected to figure it all out alone.
Then, after the 6 months training, you could go 360°
Once you've successfully completed your training, you'll progress into a full 360 Education Recruitment Consultant role.
That means taking ownership of your own desk, developing relationships with schools and education leaders, winning new business, placing SEN specialists and growing your own client base.
Think of it as running your own business within a business.
The more you put in, the more opportunity you have to earn through our competitive commission and bonus structure.
This isn't for everyone.
Recruitment is target-driven, competitive and fast-paced.
You'll be meeting school leaders, interviewing SEN specialists and making plenty of calls. You'll hear "no" – probably quite a lot – before you hear "yes".
So, we're looking for someone who is:
• Resilient – you don't give up when things don't go your way
• Ambitious – you want to progress and increase your earning potential
• Confident – you're comfortable speaking to new people
• Competitive – targets motivate you rather than scare you
• Commercially minded – you're interested in sales and business development
• Hardworking – you're prepared to put in the effort to get results
• People-focused – you enjoy building genuine professional relationships
You don't need recruitment experience. We can teach you recruitment.
What we can't teach is ambition, resilience and the desire to succeed.
