Are you an organised, detail-focused HR professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment? A fantastic opportunity has opened up for an HR Administrator to join a dynamic team in Watford, working full-time on-site, Monday to Friday.
In this key role, you’ll be the backbone of a busy People Team – delivering a professional, efficient, and people-first HR service across the full employee lifecycle. From onboarding new starters to coordinating payroll updates, you'll ensure accuracy, compliance, and excellent support at every stage.
What You’ll Be Doing
Recruitment & Onboarding: Issuing contracts, verifying right-to-work documents, managing recruitment platforms, and maintaining accurate starter records.
Employee Lifecycle: Processing leavers, contract changes, audits, and responding to HR queries.
HR Systems & Reporting: Maintaining data on HRIS system, generating reports to support wage control, absence management, and compliance.
Payroll & Benefits Support: Liaising with payroll, managing benefits admin, and ensuring timely updates to employee records.
Employee Relations: Providing first-line support for ER issues, absence tracking, and basic case management.
Training Coordination: Scheduling internal training sessions and maintaining training records.
General HR Support: Assisting with daily queries, supporting team projects, and identifying ways to streamline HR processes.
What You’ll Bring
Strong admin and organisational skills with exceptional attention to detail
Confidence in handling sensitive information with discretion
Proactive and solutions-focused approach to workload management
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work independently and manage multiple deadlines
CIPD qualification (or currently working towards it) is desirable
