HR Advisor
Herts / Beds borders
Salary up to £45,000

First stage Interviews w/c 16th March
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced HR Advisor to join a fast-paced organisation that are winning new contracts and ramping up operations as the business expands. Based on the Herts / Beds borders this is a 12-month FTC to join this high functioning HR team.
This role will provide comprehensive HR support to managers and employees, offering guidance across a broad range of HR topics including employee relations, policy, processes and the wider employee lifecycle. Working closely with senior HR leaders, this position offers strong exposure across both operational and strategic HR activities.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide advice on employee relations, managing cases such as disciplinary, probation, flexible working, and retirement
Support absence management and HR compliance
Deliver onboarding and induction, and manage offboarding processes
Advise on employee lifecycle changes including internal moves, family leave, and working patterns
Produce HR reports and metrics to support decision-making
Manage health, wellbeing, CSR, and Inclusion & Diversity initiatives
Coordinate the Employee Forum and maintain HR policies and procedures
Support engagement, recognition, and benefits administration
About You:
Experience working in a HR Generalist or HR Advisor role
Proven experience managing employee relations cases from start to finish
Strong knowledge of UK employment law and HR policies
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Ability to prioritise workload and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
High level of confidentiality, attention to detail and professionalism
Strong Microsoft Office skills, including Excel, Word and PowerPoint
CIPD qualified or currently studying
Advanced Excel skills
