A leading financial services provider is seeking an experienced Institutional Custody Manager to support client servicing across its Institutional Custody and Custodian Trustee teams. This role focuses on delivering exceptional client relationship management, overseeing operational processing, and ensuring that service quality remains paramount.
Key Responsibilities
• Manage and respond to client queries and communications promptly.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships with effective reporting practices.
• Conduct regular reviews of client revenues to ensure financial viability.
• Provide timely responses to enquiries relating to institutional custody products and services.
• Support new business initiatives for institutional clients, securing additional assets under custody.
• Identify opportunities to develop broader relationships with clients and professional contacts.
• Maintain excellent working relationships with fund and institutional clients through structured calling programmes.
• Review existing custody business to ensure continued profitability and competitiveness.
• Assess service and product offerings, identifying areas for improvement.
Skills and Experience Required
• Strong communication skills, confident engaging with stakeholders at all levels, including directors and their clients.
• Innovative approach to client relationship management, with the ability to suggest process and system enhancements.
• Excellent administrative skills with strong attention to detail.
• In-depth knowledge of securities markets, including funds, hedge funds, and alternative investments, as well as associated dealing processes.
• Sound understanding of the funds sector and the regulatory environment governing custodians.
