Axcis Education are working closely to support a primary school in the South Hams region, who are looking for a Teaching Assistant to support predominantly across KS2. This is a full time position which requires someone with previous school based, or similar experience.
Key information
Pay: £95-£105 a day
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8.30am – 3.30pm
Start date: After Easter.
About the role
You will be helping pupils in class to access the learning. At this times, this will involve supporting on a 1:1 basis. Your role is to assist the teaching staff with facilitate learning and personal growth. Your day-to-day responsibilities may include supporting small groups and individual pupils with SEND needs, assisting with classroom activities, supporting wit learning on a 1:1 basis, promoting positive behaviour and contributing to a calm, nurturing learning environment.
