Job Title: Unqualified teaching assistant
Location: Ol2
Contract: Full-time, Monday–Friday, 8:00am–3:30pm
Pay: From £13.50 per hour (dependent on experience)

Axcis Education is currently recruiting passionate and reliable Unqualified teaching assistants to support children in primary and secondary school settings. This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals who have experience working with children and are looking to gain further experience within education.

You will be supporting pupils in the classroom, working closely with teachers and SEN staff to provide tailored support, encourage engagement, and promote positive learning outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:
• Support students in class on a 1:1 basis or in small groups
• Assist the class teacher with daily classroom activities
• Help manage behaviour in line with school policies
• Provide support to children with additional needs where required
• Foster a safe, inclusive, and positive learning environment

Requirements:
• Experience working with children (essential)
• Previous experience in a school or other professional setting with children (essential)
• A valid Child and Adult DBS on the update service, or willingness to obtain one through Axcis
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• A patient, adaptable, and proactive attitude
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
