Description
A mainstream secondary school in the EN1 area of Enfield is seeking a full-time Learning Assistant to work with students who have Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs and challenging behaviour. This position is Monday to Friday, from 8:30am to 4:00pm.
In this role, you will support pupils both in and outside the classroom, helping them access the curriculum, regulate their behaviour, and develop their social skills. You will work closely with the SENCO, class teachers, and pastoral team to ensure the pupils feel safe, supported, and understood.
This role would suit someone with previous experience in behaviour support or youth work, who is confident, calm under pressure, and passionate about inclusion in education.
