Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:15am – 4:00pm
Contract: Full-time | Long-term
About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Teaching Assistant to join a supportive secondary school in East London (E11). This is a full-time, long-term opportunity to start as soon as possible.
As a Teaching Assistant (TA), you will support a range of students across both mainstream classrooms and SEND settings, making each day varied and rewarding.
Key Responsibilities
• Provide 1:1 and small group support to secondary students
• Support pupils with SEN, including ASD and complex needs
• Assist in managing challenging behaviour in a calm and positive manner
• Work across mainstream and SEND classrooms
• Support teachers in delivering engaging lessons and maintaining a positive learning environment
Requirements
• Experience working with secondary-aged students (essential)
• Experience supporting SEND pupils (ASD, complex needs, behavioural needs desirable)
• Confident supporting both mainstream and SEN learners
• Calm, flexible, and proactive approach
• Committed to a long-term Teaching Assistant role
