Early Years Teaching Assistant – Level 3
Location: Axminster
Pay: £100 – £110 per day
Hours: Full-time, 8:30am – 3:30pm, Monday to Friday
Are you a passionate and dedicated Early Years Teaching Assistant looking for your next opportunity? We are seeking a qualified Level 3 Early Years Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming and supportive primary school in Axminster. This is a full-time, long-term position starting as soon as possible, with the potential to become permanent for the right candidate.
In this role, you will support the class teacher in delivering engaging and creative learning experiences within the Early Years Foundation Stage. You’ll help to create a positive, nurturing environment that encourages children to explore, learn, and develop their skills and confidence. Your responsibilities will include assisting with classroom activities, preparing learning resources, supporting individual and small-group work, and promoting positive behaviour and social development.
The ideal candidate will:
Hold a Level 3 qualification in Early Years Education or equivalent
Have experience working with children aged 3–5 years
Demonstrate excellent communication and organisational skills
Show enthusiasm, patience, and a genuine passion for early childhood development
