Job Title: Level 3 Nursery Practitioner

Hours: Full-time
Pay: £15 - £16.75, dependent on experience

Axcis Education is currently seeking a qualified and enthusiastic Level 3 Nursery Practitioner to join a friendly early years setting in Axminster. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone passionate about supporting young children’s development in a nurturing, play-based environment.
You will be joining a supportive team dedicated to providing high-quality early years care and education, helping children to learn, grow, and thrive during these crucial early stages.
Key responsibilities include:
• Delivering high-quality care and early years education in line with the EYFS framework
• Supporting children’s learning through engaging, play-based activities
• Promoting children’s social, emotional, and physical development
• Observing, assessing, and recording children’s progress
• Creating a safe, stimulating, and inclusive environment
• Building strong relationships with children, parents, and colleagues
• Ensuring safeguarding and welfare requirements are met at all times
The ideal candidate will:
• Hold a Level 3 Early Years / Childcare qualification (essential)
• Have experience working within an early years or nursery setting
• Be warm, caring, and enthusiastic about child development
• Be confident supporting children with a range of needs and abilities
• Be a strong team player with good communication skills
• Demonstrate a good understanding of the EYFS framework and safeguarding practices
