Media Learning Support Assistant – Mainstream College
Location: Bromley, BR2
Hours: 9.00am – 5.00pm, Monday to Friday
Start: September
Pay: Competitive, depending on experience
We are working with a fantastic mainstream college in Bromley (BR2) who are seeking a Media Learning Support Assistant to join their team from September. You’ll be supporting students with additional needs within their Media and Creative Arts department, helping them access the curriculum and thrive in their studies.
Key Responsibilities:
Supporting students with a range of additional needs (including ADHD, autism and anxiety) in Media, TV Production and Creative Arts sessions
Working one-to-one and in small groups to assist with learning, confidence and engagement
Helping students with coursework, technical tasks and creative projects
Encouraging independence and promoting positive learning behaviours
Collaborating with teaching staff to ensure individual needs are met in lessons
Requirements:
Experience or qualification in Media, TV Production, Film or Creative Arts
Previous classroom or learning support experience, ideally in a college or secondary setting
Strong communication skills and a patient, supportive approach
A passion for creative learning and supporting young people with diverse needs
