Excellent role available with a leading Freight Forwarder for a highly Customer focused individual to lead and supervise a team within their Air Freight AOG department based at Heathrow.
Role will be to lead and supervise the AOG team to achieve customer/network expectations.
Duties will include -

• Ensure that Customer Reports are up to date and accurate
• Manage Customer KPIs
• Maintain SOPs
• Ensure Financial responsibility and KPIs for each Job File
• Conduct weekly communication meetings with team
• Conduct cross training within the team
• Hold customer reviews
• Professional handling of any Customer complaints
• Conduct yearly staff performance interviews
• Assist with the department budget
• Suggest department improvements
• Be involved in the accurate and prompt quoting for customers and the network (All modes)
• To ensure staff are trained in GDP
• Drive Operational Excellence

Previous experience of managing a team within a busy Air Freight department is essential ideally with experience of handling time sensitive shipments.
