HR Advisor – 12-Month FTC (Maternity Cover)
Location: North London
Contract Type: Fixed-Term (September 2025 start)
Working Pattern: Full-time, 5 days on-site
Hours: 38 hours per week, Monday to Friday
Looking for a new roleto start in September 2025? This could be your dream role working for a business that is going through huge transformation in their HR delivery.
Resourcing4HR are seeking an experienced and proactive HR Advisor to join this team of six on a 12-month fixed-term basis to provide maternity cover. Based at their North London office, and responsible for supporting five sites, this role is critical in supporting the UK business units and ensuring a high standard of HR service delivery across the organisation.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide professional HR advice on a wide range of issues including attendance, performance, disciplinary matters, and flexible working.
Conduct and support meetings, such as investigations and grievances.
Act as HR lead in the absence of the Head of HR, including attending key meetings.
Support complex employee relations cases and legal proceedings, working closely with our company solicitor and HR Administrator.
Maintain strong working relationships with managers and Trade Union representatives.
Compile monthly HR reports and support the development of HR policies and procedures.
Stay up to date with employment legislation to ensure accurate and relevant HR advice.
Manage and co-ordinate the performance management process.
Undertake HR projects and continuous improvement initiatives.
About You:
Solid experience in advising across a broad spectrum of HR issues.
CIPD qualified or working towards.
Strong organisational and administrative skills with proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence and build relationships at all levels.
Discreet, resilient, and adaptable with a strong attention to detail.
Capable of handling a busy workload and working to tight deadlines.
Willingness to work flexibly when required.
Experience working within a service led, fast paced environment such as FMCG, Logistics or Transport
Skills & Competencies:
Clear, professional written and verbal communication.
Strong team player with the ability to work independently.
Proactive, solution-focused, and highly organised.
Able to take accurate minutes and handle sensitive information confidentially.
Analytical skills with the ability to interpret HR data and trends.
