SEND Teacher – PMLD/SLD Focus | SE24 Secondary Special School
Location: SE24, South East London
Start Date: September 2025 or ASAP (trial days available now)
Contract: Full-time | Temp-to-Perm
Pay: Paid to scale
We’re working with a well-regarded SEND secondary school in SE24 that is looking for a passionate, student-focused SEND Teacher to join their specialist team. This is an excellent opportunity for teachers experienced in working with students with PMLD or SLD who are looking to make a lasting impact in a nurturing and structured environment.
About the Role:
• Deliver adapted and meaningful learning to students aged 11–19 with complex needs
• Plan and implement lessons tailored to PMLD or SLD student profiles
• Collaborate with a team of therapists, TAs, and SEND specialists
• Foster communication, independence, and personal development
What We’re Looking For:
• QTS or equivalent and experience teaching students with PMLD or SLD
• Enhanced DBS (Child & Adult Workforce) on the Update Service
• A calm, empathetic approach and commitment to inclusive learning
• Strong teamwork skills and the ability to follow individual learning plans
