Axcis Education are proud to be working in close partnership with a well-established independent specialist college in Torbay. This fantastic college is looking for a dedicated SEND Job Coach to support students post 16+ who have an EHCP and complex needs.
About the Role:
As a Post 16 Job Coach you will provide tailored support to students on a 1:1 or small group basis. Your focus will be to deliver a personalised curriculum for each learner, helping them work towards functional skills qualifications in Maths and English. This role offers the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of young people, empowering them to reach their full potential, ensuing students leave with life skills, employability skills and a clear drive to follow their passion.
Key Details:
• Location: Edge of Torbay
• Working Hours: 8:45 AM - 4:30 PM (Full Time)
• Position Type: Permanent or Temporary-to-Permanent
• Salary: £21,750 - £24,500 (depending on experience and qualifications)
What We’re Looking For:
• A strong passion for supporting, encouraging, and motivating students with SEND
• Previous experience working with learners with Autism, ADHD, Physical Disabilities, or Complex Needs is desirable but not essential.
• A commitment to providing a nurturing, positive, and inclusive learning environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• A desire to make a tangible impact on the educational journey of each individual student.
