We are looking for a reliable and caring Lunch Cover Assistant to join our dedicated team at a SEND school in Sutton. This role involves supporting SEND students during lunchtime. Flexibility to work with students across various age groups is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and support students during lunch breaks, ensuring a safe and positive environment.
• Assist SEND students providing appropriate guidance and encouragement.
• Promote social interaction and inclusion among students during lunch and recreational activities.
• Implement behaviour management strategies as needed to maintain a calm and supportive atmosphere.
• Work flexibly with different age groups, adapting to their unique needs.

Requirements:

• Experience working with students with SEMH needs and challenging behaviours
• Patience, resilience, and strong communication skills.
• A commitment to fostering a safe and inclusive environment.
• Flexibility to support students across various age groups.
• Personal care may be required for this role!
