Description
Are you passionate about making a difference in children’s lives? We’re looking for caring, enthusiastic and reliable people to join our team of Teaching Assistants supporting children across primary schools in Bath.
This is a full-time role, Monday to Friday from 8:30am to 3:30pm, working with KS1 and KS2 pupils who have learning disabilities and autism. You’ll be helping them to reach their full potential in a warm and inclusive school environment.
You’ll be based within specialist provisions in Bath primary schools, working closely with teachers and other support staff to provide individual and small-group support. Every day will be different, from helping with lessons and creative activities to encouraging independence and confidence in the classroom.
We welcome applications from people of all backgrounds, especially graduates in Art, Drama, or related subjects who are looking for hands-on experience in education. If you are patient, creative, and have a genuine interest in supporting children with additional needs, this could be the perfect next step for you.
No previous experience is required, as what matters most is your positive attitude, empathy, and willingness to learn. You’ll receive ongoing support and training to help you succeed in your role.
This position starts as soon as possible and offers a fantastic opportunity to build long-term relationships within the school community. After a successful 18-week settling-in period, there is the opportunity for the role to become permanent.
The role is based in Bath, working full-time during school hours, Monday to Friday, with a pay rate of £13.70 per hour.
If you’re looking for a rewarding role where you can use your creativity, compassion and energy to make a real impact, we’d love to hear from you.
