Job Title: Primary Teacher ECT - KS1
Location: Oldham, Lancashire

Job Description:

We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Early Career Teacher (ECT) with a passion for teaching at the KS1 level to join our vibrant primary school in Oldham, Lancashire. As a Primary Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality lessons and fostering a stimulating learning environment for a class of 30 children, including 7 with Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs).

Key Responsibilities:

- Plan, prepare and deliver engaging and differentiated lessons that meet the needs of all pupils, including those with EHCPs.
- Utilise creative and innovative teaching methods to inspire young minds and cater to a variety of learning styles.
- Maintain excellent classroom management skills to ensure a safe, respectful and welcoming environment for all students.
- Assess and monitor pupil progress, providing feedback and tailored support as necessary.
- Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and other professionals to ensure a holistic approach to each child's education and well-being.
- Contribute to the development of the school curriculum and participate in various school activities and events.
- Actively seek opportunities for professional development to enhance teaching practice and pupil outcomes.
- Promote inclusivity and ensure that every child has equal access to learning opportunities.

Qualifications and Experience:

- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
- Satisfactory DBS on the update service.
- Experience teaching in KS1 is required.
- Proven ability to manage a classroom effectively and cater to a diverse range of needs.
- Evidence of ongoing professional development in education or related fields.

Work Hours: Full-time, 8:30 am to 4:00 pm

Salary: £140 - £150 per day
