Description

Private Client Tax Manager
Ref: CWK787
Salary: £55,000 - £65,000 (DOE)
This Private Client Tax Manager opportunity with a leading firm of Chartered Accountants in Edinburgh sits within a well-regarded and experienced tax team, with a high-quality and varied client base, a clear pathway to senior manager level, and flexible working, a company pension, and much more on offer.

Crowe Watson Recruitment has a strong and well-established presence across the Scottish accountancy market, and the Edinburgh private client tax space is one the team knows particularly well. Every search is handled with care and precision, with a real effort made to understand not just the technical fit but the cultural and longer term fit as well, and that considered approach is what consistently delivers well-matched placements that work for both sides.

Edinburgh’s status as one of Europe’s leading financial centres means that the private client tax market here is as varied and technically interesting as anywhere in the UK outside of London, with a diverse and high-quality client base that presents genuinely complex challenges across income tax, capital gains tax, inheritance tax, and trusts. As Private Client Tax Manager, you will take full ownership of a varied and prestigious portfolio of high-net-worth individuals, trusts, and estates, delivering expert compliance and advisory services whilst working closely with partners on more strategically significant assignments and playing an active role in the development of the team around you. The firm offers a well-defined pathway to senior manager level, a collegiate and supportive working culture, and the kind of technically stimulating environment that any ambitious private client tax professional will find both challenging and deeply rewarding. You might not meet all the criteria, but if you are passionate about developing yourself and your career, we’d love to hear from you.

Crowe Watson is acting as an Employment Agency. References to pay rates are indicative and salary is dependent on experience.

Please note that Crowe Watson Recruitment is unable to assist with sponsorship applications; all candidates must have the right to work in the UK without restriction.
