Axcis Education is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Teaching Assistant to join a primary school in Bedminster, Bristol, supporting pupils within a specialist resource base for speech and language needs. This full-time role begins in Term 6 (June) and offers a fantastic opportunity to support children with communication difficulties in a structured, nurturing environment, with a strong possibility of the role continuing into the next academic year.

About the Role
As a Teaching Assistant, you will:
• Support pupils with speech and language delays within a specialist resource base
• Provide 1:1 and small group interventions to support communication and learning
• Use targeted strategies to develop speech, language and social interaction skills
• Work closely with the SENCO, teachers and speech & language therapists
• Help create a structured, supportive and engaging learning environment
• Pay from £92.36

The Ideal Candidate
We are looking for someone who:
• Has experience supporting children with speech and language needs or SEND (desirable but not essential)
• Is patient, nurturing and a confident communicator
• Has a strong interest in supporting communication and language development
• Works well as part of a team and can follow structured support plans
• Is passionate about helping children build confidence and independence
