Axcis Education is seeking a dedicated and resilient Teaching Assistant to join a specialist secondary school in West Bristol, supporting Key Stage 3 pupils with SEMH (Social, Emotional and Mental Health) needs. This full-time role begins January 2026 and offers a highly rewarding opportunity to support young people who benefit from structure, consistency, and emotional support.

About the Role
• Full-time, Monday to Friday, 8:30am–3:30pm, term-time only
• Provide 1:1 and small-group support for pupils with SEMH and behavioural needs
• Help students develop social skills, emotional regulation strategies and positive behaviour patterns
• Work collaboratively with teachers and pastoral staff to maintain a safe and supportive learning environment
• Support pupils with needs such as ADHD, attachment difficulties, anxiety and other additional challenges

The Ideal Candidate
We welcome applicants who are:
• Experienced in SEMH, behaviour support or SEND (desirable but not essential)
• Resilient, patient and calm when managing challenging situations
• Passionate about helping young people overcome barriers to learning
• Skilled at building trusting, positive relationships with pupils and staff

Pay Rates = £89-£95 per day (PAYE)
