We are actively looking for passionate practitioners who are looking for opportunities to work alongside primary and secondary aged students with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs. If you have a passion for supporting students with complex needs and who may have low self-esteem and confidence, this could be the perfect role for you.
Key Information
•Pay: £95–£105 per day, depending on experience and qualifications
•Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 16.00
•Start Date: September 2026
About the Role
•Your role will be to support students with SEMH on a one-to-one basis and in small groups
•Assisting the class teacher with classroom activities and learning tasks
•Encouraging positive behaviour and emotional development
•Helping to create a calm, structured, and nurturing environment
•Creating positive, trusting relationships with students.

This Torbay-based school supports students aged 11–16 whose needs cannot be met in mainstream education. All pupils have an Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP) related to Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs.
