SEN Teaching Assistant – Full Time

?? Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:20 AM – 3:45 PM

Axcis Education is seeking a confident, experienced, and enthusiastic SEN Teaching Assistant to join a dedicated team at a specialist primary school in the EN3 area. This full-time, long-term role begins in September 2025 and involves providing high-quality 1:1 support for pupils with ASD, ADHD, and complex needs.

Key Responsibilities:

-Deliver personalised 1:1 support and mentoring for pupils with ASD and ADHD

-Create a safe, inclusive, and nurturing classroom environment

-Support the implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs) to encourage progress and development

Requirements:

-Previous experience supporting children with ASD and/or ADHD in the UK

-A sound understanding of SEND practices and approaches

-Relevant qualifications are desirable but not essential

-An Enhanced Child and Adult DBS registered on the Update Service is required
