A friendly and inclusive primary school in the EN8 (Waltham Cross) area is seeking a compassionate and proactive Teaching Assistant to join their team on a full-time basis.

This position will involve supporting pupils with ASD, complex needs and behavioural needs, both on a 1:1 basis and within small group settings, helping them to engage with learning and build confidence socially and emotionally.

Role Details:

Full-time position

Monday to Friday

Hours: 8:30am – 3:30pm

Start date: ASAP

Key Responsibilities:

-Delivering tailored 1:1 and small group support

-Assisting with differentiated learning activities

-Supporting emotional regulation and promoting positive behaviour strategies

-Working collaboratively with class teachers and the SEN team

The Ideal Candidate Will:

-Have prior experience supporting pupils with ASD and complex needs

-Be patient, consistent and nurturing in their approach

-Confidently manage behavioural challenges

-Be committed to inclusive education and pupil progress
