About the role:
Join our Altrincham secondary school as a SEND Teaching Assistant. You’ll work with students who have a range of additional needs, including SEMH (Social, Emotional & Mental Health), ASD, and specific learning difficulties, providing targeted support both in class and during small group interventions.
Key Responsibilities:
• Supporting students with SEND in lessons and one-to-one sessions
• Assisting teachers with differentiated teaching resources
• Encouraging positive behaviour and emotional regulation
• Monitoring progress and providing feedback to staff
Requirements:
• Experience in SEND support is desirable
• Strong interpersonal skills and patience
• Commitment to inclusive education and student development
