SEND Teaching Assistant – Primary

We are looking for a committed SEND Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming and supportive primary school team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who wants to make a genuine difference to pupils’ learning, confidence and development.
The Role
As a SEND Teaching Assistant, you will:
• Support pupils with a range of special educational needs within a primary classroom
• Provide one-to-one and small group support where required
• Help create a positive, inclusive and engaging learning environment
• Work closely with teachers to support individual learning plans and adapt activities to meet pupils’ needs
• Assist with classroom routines, learning activities and behaviour support
• Encourage pupils to develop their confidence, independence and communication skills
• Build positive relationships with pupils and provide consistent support throughout the school day

• Experienced working within a SEND setting or with pupils with additional needs
• Caring, patient and enthusiastic
• Positive, proactive and willing to get involved
• Reliable and committed to providing consistent support
• A strong communicator with excellent people skills
• Flexible and able to adapt to the changing needs of the classroom
• Passionate about helping pupils achieve their individual potential
Working Hours
Full-time, Monday to Friday
8:30am – 4:00pm
