Full-Time SEND Teaching Assistant – Ilford (Starting September)
Location: Ilford, East London
Hours: Monday–Friday, 8:30am–4:00pm
Start Date: September 2025
Contract Type: Full-time (Temp to Perm Opportunity)
Axcis Education is proud to be partnering with a fantastic school in Ilford to recruit a SEND Teaching Assistant for a full-time role starting in September.
This is a rewarding opportunity for a dedicated and experienced individual to support students with complex needs, both on a 1:1 basis and within small group settings.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide tailored support to students with SEND, including personal care where required
- Support learning and emotional development in a safe, inclusive environment
- Work closely with teachers, therapists, and other support staff
The Ideal Candidate Will:
- Have previous experience working with individuals with SEND
- Possess strong knowledge of SEN practices and strategies
- Be willing and able to carry out personal care duties
- Be reliable, confident, and flexible in their approach
- Demonstrate excellent behaviour management skills
