Location: Sutton
Hours: Full-time, 9 AM - 3:45 PM
Start Date: ASAP
Starting rate: £13.69 PAYE
We are seeking a committed and adaptable Teaching Assistant to join our dedicated team at a SEND school in Sutton. This full-time role involves supporting SEND students with various needs including ASD, ADHD and challenging behaviour.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide tailored support to SEND students with needs and challenging behaviour in line with individual education plans.
• Assist teachers in delivering engaging and inclusive lessons.
• Work flexibly across different age groups, adapting to the unique needs of each class.
• Support students’ social, emotional, and academic development in a safe and nurturing environment.
• Implement behaviour management strategies effectively, promoting positive outcomes for students.
Requirements:
• Experience working with students with SEND and challenging behaviour (preferred but not essential).
• Strong interpersonal skills, patience, and resilience.
• Flexibility to work with various age groups and adapt to changing needs.
• A genuine passion for supporting students with special educational needs.
