Teaching Assistant – SEND Support (Primary School)
Location:LS14
Pay: From £89 per day (depending on experience)
Start Date: ASAP

We are currently seeking a dedicated teaching assistant to join a welcoming and inclusive primary school setting, providing one-to-one and small group support to pupils with a range of SEND needs.

About the Role:
• Supporting children with a range of special needs including autism, ADHD, and speech and language difficulties
• Assisting with both academic learning and personal development
• Working closely with the class teacher and SENCO to implement individual learning plans
• Helping to create a positive and engaging learning environment
• Providing personal care support if required
What We’re Looking For:
• Previous experience working with SEND children in a school setting (desirable but not essential)
• A kind, patient and proactive approach
• A genuine passion for supporting children’s learning and development
• A DBS on the update service, or willingness to apply for one
