Role: Senior Area Sales Manager
Industry: Electrical Wholesale
Location: Northampton, Northamptonshire
Hours: Monday to Friday, with 1 in 5 Saturday mornings
Salary: up to circa £55K + bonus (OTE £70K)
Overview:
We are recruiting for a Senior Area Sales Manager, to join our client's Electrical Wholesale business, covering Northamptonshire and surrounding areas.
Our client is looking for a positive team player, that can lead by example when sales opportunities or challenges present themselves. An ideal person will have a warm personality, great interpersonal skills and the ability to manage themselves to a high level, whilst encouraging others to reach their goals.

• Hours 8am – 5:30pm Monday – Friday + Saturday’s (Rota: 1 every 5 weeks 8am – 12pm)
Responsibilities:
• Looking after existing customers on a daily basis to maximise & drive the sales opportunities.
• Win day to day business through service, relationships & trust
• Achieve sales targets set in relation to both turnover & Gross Profit to maximise bonuses.
• Lead & Project generation & help the sales teams to successfully win.
• Leading the various sales teams.
• Business planning & review meetings working with senior team.
• Leading by example the drive for new trading accounts.
• Ensure continual awareness of new & updated products as necessary.
Skills / Experience:
• Electrical Wholesale industry experience.
• Driving Licence.
• Able to demonstrate sample products confidently face to face to potential clients.
• The ability to independently plan, organise and work to tight deadlines.
• Be confident working towards and achieving sales targets.
