Description
A fast-growing financial services group is looking for an experienced Senior Fund Accountant to join its Guernsey team. This role offers the chance to work on complex and diverse fund structures while taking on a leadership role in a dynamic, expanding business.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead on the administration and accounting of various fund structures including valuations, calls, distributions, management accounts, investor reporting, and year-end statements.
• Supervise the bookkeeping process and perform regular bank reconciliations.
• Drive the audit process and liaise with clients and auditors throughout.
• Oversee payment instructions and ensure accuracy in investment-related transactions.
• Perform and review NAV calculations and financial statement production.
• Manage client relationships with a focus on service excellence and timeliness.
• Support the Senior Manager in directing the fund accounting team efficiently and effectively.
What You’ll Need to Succeed:
• Minimum of 3 years’ relevant experience in financial services.
• Fully qualified accountant (ideally ACCA or ACA).
• Strong financial services and fund accounting knowledge.
• Excellent IT proficiency and interpersonal skills.
